Training Officer is responsible for delivering effective training interventions that align with organizational needs and standards. The role works closely with departments and subject matter experts to ensure training programs are relevant, compliant, and contribute to continuous performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver behavioral, job-specific, awareness, regulatory, and developmental training programs
- Measure and report training effectiveness by collecting and analyzing participant feedback
- Coordinate with trainers and departments to ensure training quality and compliance with company standards
- Manage training administration activities and ensure accurate attendance records in the Learning Management System
- Plan and supervise pre- and post-training activities across departments
- Support training audits to ensure compliance with published training matrices and record-keeping requirements
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop job-specific training aligned with standard operating procedures
- Contribute to the development of behavioral and management training based on organizational needs
- Enhance learning effectiveness through updated training materials, audio-visual aids, and learning tools
- Assist in developing, organizing, and maintaining training manuals, presentations, guides, and training records
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement within the training function and across the organization
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of job-related experience in training or learning support roles
- Proficiency in English language, written and spoken
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Word
- Experience with Learning Management Systems is an advantage
- Train the Trainer certification is highly preferred
- Experience delivering or coordinating training in a multicultural environment is an advantage
