As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring the well‑being and development of children in our care, and managing a team of passionate educators. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment that supports children's growth and learning.

Key Responsibilities Leadership and Management
  • Lead and manage a team of early childhood educators and support staff.
  • Develop and maintain a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and professional development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements.
Curriculum and Program Development
  • Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that promote children's learning and development.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum, making adjustments as needed.
  • Foster creativity and innovation in teaching practices.
Child Welfare and Development
  • Prioritize the safety, well‑being, and developmental needs of each child.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians, addressing their concerns and needs.
  • Create and maintain child portfolios to track developmental progress.
Administrative Duties
  • Oversee daily administrative tasks, including enrollment, attendance, and record‑keeping.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and supplies efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the management team on strategic planning and goals.
Health and Safety Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for children and staff.
  • Develop and implement emergency procedures and protocols.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting.
  • Proven knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including team‑building and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant local and national regulations and licensing standards.
  • Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for children.
