Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site KS2 Primary Class Teacher role located in Doha, Qatar. The teacher will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging KS2 lessons aligned with the British curriculum, ensuring that all learners are supported and challenged appropriately. Daily responsibilities include creating and maintaining a positive classroom environment, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
The role involves regular communication with parents and guardians, attending staff meetings, contributing to curriculum planning, and participating in school events and extracurricular activities. The teacher will also maintain accurate records, follow school policies and procedures, and collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and student wellbeing.
- Strong classroom practice in Teaching and Elementary Education, with proven experience working with KS2 learners.
- Ability to design and implement effective Curriculum Development and Education plans aligned with a British-style curriculum.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English, to engage students, families, and colleagues.
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g.,
B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent) and appropriate teaching license or eligibility. - Experience in international or multicultural school settings is an advantage.
- Ability to use educational technology to enhance teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Strong classroom management skills, with a commitment to inclusive practices and safeguarding.
- Willingness to engage in professional development and contribute positively to the wider school community.
