Position Overview
Qatar Airways is hiring a Maintenance Training Instructor Level 4 to join our technical team in Doha. This role is ideal for experienced aviation professionals with aircraft maintenance licenses and a strong passion for training. You will be responsible for developing and delivering EASA/QCAR-compliant theoretical courses to aircraft maintenance staff, ensuring technical excellence across our Part
145 and CAMO operations.

- Deliver approved Part
147 theoretical training for licensed and unlicensed aircraft maintenance staff - Design and maintain course material, including presentations and training documents
- Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) and support curriculum development
- Evaluate trainee performance through examinations and assessments
- Serve as Practical Instructor/Assessor on Maintenance Simulation Training Devices (MSTD)
- Support internal training needs for Part
145 and CAMO teams through tailored programs - Prepare and validate exam questions; act as an examiner as per regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records and collaborate with training administrators
- Participate in ongoing instructor development and stay aligned with new regulatory training standards
- Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering
- ICAO/QCAA/EASA license with at least 2 type ratings relevant to Qatar Airways' fleet
- Minimum 5years of experience in aircraft maintenance and technical training
- EASA Part
147 Certificate of Recognition (Theoretical and Practical components) - Familiarity with QCAR, EASA Part
145/147/66 regulatory frameworks - Instructional method training and experience using training devices (e.g., ACT, DTS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Minimum B1 English proficiency per CEFR standards
We're looking for a motivated instructor with a structured mindset and deep technical understanding. You must be comfortable with training delivery, regulatory compliance, and assessment processes. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential.
