Overview

University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) is the first national applied University in the State of Qatar, offering applied Bachelors and Master’s degrees in addition to certificates and diplomas in various fields. UDST has over 50 programs in the fields of Engineering Technology and Industrial Trades, Business Management, Computing and Information Technology, Health Sciences, Continuing and Professional Education and more.

The successful candidate will possess a doctoral degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline, together with substantial senior leadership experience within higher education. The role requires a proven ability to lead complex academic operations, drive institutional excellence, and support innovation in teaching, learning, research, and industry engagement. Candidates must demonstrate experience within internationally recognized higher education institutions, and possess a strong understanding of global academic standards and accreditation frameworks.

Experience working within culturally diverse environments is highly desirable.

An earned PhD, awarded from an accredited institution in an appropriate field such as Engineering, Information Technology or a Computer Science is required.

Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar leadership role within a relevant discipline.

Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic language is required.
