Qatar Airways is seeking a Security Learning & Development Specialist to join the HR Group Learning and Development team. The role is based in Doha, Qatar. The specialist will facilitate and continuously improve security trainings across the Qatar Airways Group and approved external organisations in Doha and throughout the QR network. The trainings should be delivered to a high standard and reflect guidance from governing bodies.

• Facilitate learner-focused training programs to a world-class standard, using adult learning and learner-focused techniques
• Conduct approved assessments to measure learners’ competence
• Monitor regulator standards to ensure training is compliant and up to date
• Implement effectiveness and efficiency of learning by delivering programs aligned with the 70:20:10 learning principles
• Design and develop security-related courses and programs that comply with security regulations and procedures and best-practice methodology as directed by the Line Manager
• Plan and design learning events (e.g., conferences, communities of practice) including opportunities for staff to network, communicate, mentor and learn from each other
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand learning gaps and recommend best practices in collaborative security-related learning
• Perform other department duties as directed by the Head of the Department

• High school qualification/vocational qualification/diploma or equivalent with minimum 5 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent with minimum 4 years of job-related experience
• A formal aviation security trainer accreditation from ICAO/IATA/Civil Aviation Authority
• Aviation security experience
• Experience in Aviation Security Training
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Sound knowledge of MS Office suite
• Experience in training in multi-cultural environments
• Instructional ability
• Aviation Security subject matter competence
