Byron Recruitment is seeking a caring attentive and experienced Infant Teacher to support the learning development and well-being of young children in a nurturing early years environment in Doha Qatar. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about infant care and early childhood development and who can create a safe stimulating and inclusive classroom where children feel secure and supported.

The Infant Teacher will play a key role in building strong daily routines encouraging developmental milestones and fostering positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and education for infants in a safe warm and engaging environment
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support physical emotional social sensory and cognitive development
  • Observe monitor and document each child's progress, routines and developmental milestones
  • Maintain consistent daily schedules including feeding sleeping toileting and play routines
  • Ensure the classroom is clean organized and set up with suitable resources for infant learning and exploration
  • Support children's early communication curiosity and confidence through responsive interactions and play-based learning
  • Build trusting and positive relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication and feedback
  • Follow safeguarding health safety and hygiene procedures at all times
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to support the needs of each child
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and participate in staff meetings training and school activities
  • Promote an inclusive environment that respects each child's individual needs, background and stage of development
Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education Education or a related field
  • Previous experience working with infants or in an early years classroom
  • Strong understanding of infant development and age-appropriate teaching and care practices
  • Ability to create a nurturing structured and stimulating learning environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient attentive and compassionate approach to working with young children
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to child safeguarding health safety and well-being
  • Professional attitude and appearance
Nice to Have
  • Experience working in an international school or nursery setting
  • Knowledge of early years curricula or child-centered learning approaches
  • Current first aid certification or infant care training
