Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Trainer – Electricity (MV/HV) to design and deliver technical training programs for electrical personnel. The successful candidate will provide classroom and hands-on training on Medium Voltage (MV) and High Voltage (HV) systems, assess trainee competency, and ensure compliance with technical and safety standards. This role is ideal for an experienced electrical engineer with a passion for learning and development.

Qualification:

Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in the electrical industry.
  • At least 1 year of experience in technical training, learning & development, or instructional delivery.
  • Experience in utilities, power generation, transmission, or electrical distribution is preferred.
Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Technical

Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Medium Voltage (MV) and High Voltage (HV) electrical systems.
  • Experience developing and delivering technical training programs.
  • Ability to assess, evaluate, and certify trainees.
  • Excellent presentation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Mandatory Criteria:
  • Valid Train the Trainer certification.
  • Bilingual with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience delivering technical training.
  • Strong interpersonal and instructional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct technical training sessions on Medium Voltage (MV) and High Voltage (HV) electrical systems.
  • Develop and deliver structured classroom and practical training programs.
  • Assess trainee knowledge, practical skills, and competency through evaluations and examinations.
  • Certify trainees upon successful completion of training requirements.
  • Plan, organize, and manage training schedules, equipment, materials, and learning resources.
  • Maintain training laboratories, classrooms, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
  • Coach, mentor, and guide trainees throughout the learning process.
  • Continuously review and enhance training materials, methodologies, and course content.
  • Ensure all training activities comply with applicable safety standards and organizational procedures.
  • Prepare training reports and maintain accurate trainee records.
