Location: Qatar

Start Date: August 2025

Contract: Full-time, 2-year contract with possibility of extension

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery / Reception Teacher to join our team in August 2025. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood development and be able to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our youngest students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for children aged 3-5 years old
• Create a welcoming, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
• Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and foster a love for learning
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support for individual needs
• Communicate effectively with parents, sharing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or questions
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and implement school-wide events and initiatives
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student attendance, grades, and behavior
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practices and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
• Adhere to school policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Teaching certification or license from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a Nursery / Reception setting
• Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in early years education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a multicultural environment
• Experience with international curricula is an asset
