University Professor, Academic, Online Teaching, Training Instructor / Specialist
Reporting to the Head of the Department English, the part-time instructor is ideally an experienced educator with creative and innovative teaching skills who can effectively plan, develop, and deliver course content in UDST s undergraduate English curriculum. The successful candidate will also be responsible for evaluating student progress, collaborating with faculty teaching teams, and managing resources in the learning environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
QualificationsMasters (or equivalent as designated and approved) in a relevant discipline from a recognized, accredited institution. A terminal degree in a closely related field may be considered.
At least 3 years of full-time teaching experience in post-secondary, or higher education institutions
Exemplary verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Fluency in written and spoken English language.
Other Required Skills- Commitment to creating and evaluating authentic assessment tools that validly and reliably measure mastery of course learning outcomes while promoting lifelong learning
- Demonstrate ability to use a variety of educational technology and learning platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to develop technology-enriched learning environments that enable students to be active participants in their education
- Digital literacy and demonstrated fluency in learning management systems and an ability to model and facilitate the use of current and emerging digital platforms
