Job Purpose: To optimize production downtime when executing maintenance activities contributing to the development and review of risk assessments.
- Oversee the management of topside non-routine activities, coordinating with various onboard entities (FOPS, E&C, MP, MNT, INSP) and maintaining close collaboration with the onshore coordination team to ensure proper scope arbitration, validation, and works.
- Supervise contractor personnel onboard and act as the HSE representative to uphold safety standards.
- Monitor offshore execution to ensure alignment with established KPIs, agreed milestones, and the approved P6 schedule.
- Directly support Al‑Shaheen field production goals by ensuring offshore activities are completed within the defined time frames.
- Assist in coordinating and supervising scaffold activities, promoting an efficient, multidisciplinary and integrated approach.
- Serve as the primary liaison with onshore teams to address and resolve any issues that arise during the execution phase.
- Promote a cost‑conscious approach across all activities to optimise resource utilisation.
- Identify opportunities and integrity risks to maximise production output while ensuring compliance with environmental and process safety standards.
- Carry out internal audits of all scaffolding works.
- Ensure that all scaffolding is erected and dismantled in line with regulations NASC TG20, SG4, OSHA or Local Codes Of Practice.
Ideally, you will have graduated with minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three‑year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).
Relevant
Work Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years offshore level on‑field equipment in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants.
A minimum of 5 years in a scaffold supervisor position.
CISRS Advanced Scaffolder (Gold Card / NVQ Level
3) and/or CISRS Overseas Scaffold Supervisor Certificate of Training and Record Card (Gold Card) CISRS Scaffold Inspection Certificate or equivalent. Advanced skills and knowledge of Scaffold Management techniques of Ring Lock and traditional tube and fitting material preferably in the petrochemical, refining, Oil & Gas exploration and / or production industries.
Awareness/basic use of planning software tools e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project.
Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills required.
Solid leadership skills and ability to work in a multi‑disciplined and multi‑cultural environment.
Self‑starter and be able to work with minimal supervision.
High level user of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) SAP.
Medically fit to work offshore oil & gas Platform.
You are fluent in English with both written and verbal communication.
You will have good interpersonal and organisational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
