Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
- Maintain generators, power distribution transformers, HV/LV switch gear, substations, LT/HT motors, DC systems, VFDs, UPS, and battery chargers.
- Test and commission generators, transformers, circuit breakers, and MV motors.
- Work with gas-insulated switch gear (GIS) of 132kV and above.
- Conduct relay testing using PCM
600, DIGSI4, MiCOM Studio, and Enervista. - Utilize testing equipment such as Omicron CPC
100, CMC
356, or equivalent. - Maintain SFC excitation systems and PLC systems; handle communication protocols.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and fault diagnostics.
- Manage SAP systems (SAPS/4
HANA or SAPECC
6.0) for maintenance notifications, work orders, and spare part tracking. - Apply strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Work independently and support combined cycle power plants (CCPP) and desalination facilities (MSF/RO).
- Hands‑on maintenance experience in power plants.
- Experience with combined cycle power plants and desalination plants (MSF/RO).
- Proficiency in root cause analysis and fault diagnostics.
- Knowledge of SAP maintenance modules, especially SAPS/4
HANA or SAPECC
6.0. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage maintenance schedules.
