Location: Offshore Qatar (North Field Expansion, Contracted Rigs)
Employment Type:Rotational (42 on/21 off)
Reporting To:Driller / Rig Superintendent
1. Derrick Operations Leadership
- Supervise
all derrick operations
duringdrilling, casing, and tripping - Direct
floormen and roughnecks
inpipe handling and racking - Monitor
load weights
and
derrickstructural integrity
- Oversee
BHA makeup/breakout
inderrick - Manage
mud mixing/transfer
operations
- Enforce
Qatar Energy (QP) DROPSprogram
(Dropped Object Prevention) - Conduct
daily derrick inspections
(cables,sheaves, safety equipment)
- Supervise
lubrication and minor repairs
of derrick equipment - Coordinate with
mechanical crew
formajor repairs
- 5+ years offshore experience (3+ as Derrickman/Foreman)
- IWCF Level 2 Well Control Certification
- BOSIET/FOET with HUET (Offshore Survival & HUET)
- QP Medical Certificate
- Rigging/Slinging Certification
- Arabic language skills (advantage for Qatari crews)
