Generator Mechanic

Madre Integrated Engineering | Full time

• Perform inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of diesel and industrial generators.
• Diagnose mechanical faults, abnormal noise, vibration, overheating, and performance issues.
• Inspect and replace bearings, belts, filters, hoses, seals, gaskets, and other mechanical components.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to approved schedules and procedures.
• Perform engine servicing, lubrication, cooling-system checks, and fuel-system maintenance.
• Support dismantling, assembly, alignment, and testing of generator components.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, mechanical drawings, and maintenance instructions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records.
• Follow all HSE, PTW, and site safety requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Generator Mechanic in the Oil & Gas industry
  .
• Diploma / ITI / Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, or Mechanical Maintenance preferred.
• Hands-on experience with diesel generators and associated mechanical systems.
• Good knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems, bearings, and couplings.
• Experience in shutdown, turnaround, or plant maintenance projects is preferred.
• Ability to use mechanical tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding Oil & Gas environments.
• Immediate availability preferred.
