Senior Process Engineer – Brief Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Senior Process Engineer to lead design activities on major Oil & Gas projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and proficiency in industry‑standard design tools and processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution, with 10‑15 years of relevant experience in Design Engineering of Oil & Gas projects with experience in Qatar
• Must be registered with MMUP grade (A/B)
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and knowledge of industry‑specific codes and standards (in line with Qatar Energy).
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing);
  Arabic is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to plan, design, and execute engineering projects based on technical specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, leadership and decision‑making abilities.
• Prepare and review reports, technical documentation, cost & manpower estimates, and risk assessments (TBE, Vendor packages, etc.).
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide engineering solutions to problems encountered during construction or operations.
• Participate in progress meetings, quality checks, and audits.
• Apply continuous improvement and innovation principles to project work.
• Actively train and encourage the development of staff to fulfil process and systems engineering roles.
• Actively participate in discipline‑specific design reviews, model reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, engineering best practices, etc. as applicable.
• Judicious allocation of workload to ensure optimum utilization of resources.
