Role:
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Piping Fabrication Engineer located in Doha, Qatar. Responsibilities include supervising piping fabrication activities, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, quality control standards, and safety regulations. The engineer will collaborate with project teams, implement welding and machining processes, address construction challenges, and maintain project timelines and quality compliance. Activities also include supporting project planning and reporting.
- Proficiency in welding and machining processes with strong understanding of standard practices in fabrication.
- Technical expertise in mechanical engineering, specifically for piping systems and equipment.
- Experience in project management, including scheduling, coordination, and oversight of activities on site.
- Skills in quality control to ensure adherence to industry standards and project specifications.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of experience, majority specializing in piping fabrication.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas piping systems, various piping materials and welding techniques.
- Excellent understanding of mechanical engineering, process engineering, and automation systems.
- Experience with various types of machines used for piping and support fabrication.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Qatar residents with NOC preferred.
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly MS Office.
