Job Description
We are looking for an experienced QC Inspector - Welding for a reputed contracting company involved in Refinery, Petrochemical, and Fertilizer projects in Qatar.
Position Details- Position: QC Inspector - Welding
- Location: Qatar
- Employment Type: Full-Time / Project-Based
- ✅ Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- ✅ 8-9 years of relevant experience
- ✅
CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2.1 - Mandatory - ✅ Strong experience in steel fabrication projects
- ✅
Experience with
shutdown & turnaround projects preferred - ✅
Gulf experience will be an added advantage
- ✔ Inspect welding activities for piping, structural steel, and storage tanks
- ✔ Review and verify WPS, PQR, WQT
- ✔ Monitor welding, fit-up, joint preparation, and consumables
- ✔ Coordinate and witness NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT)
- ✔ Ensure compliance with ASME / API / AWS codes & project specifications
- ✔ Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, inspection records, and dossiers
- ✔ Handle NCRs and follow up on corrective actions
- ✔ Coordinate with client and third-party inspectors
- Salary: QR 6,000
