BMS Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled BMS (Building Management System) Technician with hands‑on expertise in HVAC systems and building automation. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical and analytical capabilities along with a self‑driven attitude to learn and adapt on the job. You will be responsible for handling service and retrofit projects at various stages ensuring high‑quality work, safety compliance and customer satisfaction.

• Understand and apply the operating principles of various HVAC systems to implement correct and safe control strategies.
• Perform hands‑on work including programming controllers, commissioning systems, calibrating sensors, actuators and energy metering devices.
• Handle third‑party software integrations as per project requirements.
• Manage multiple service and retrofit projects simultaneously without compromising on quality or attention to detail.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients and contractors for on‑time reporting, issue resolution and project delivery.
• Provide system operation training to clients and prepare comprehensive handover documentation.
• Uphold high safety standards and encourage compliance among peers on‑site.
• Engage in continuous learning through self‑study, field experience and support from senior technical staff.
• Graduate or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical or related field).
• Operate and monitor SCADA/BMS systems in real‑time.
• Ensure optimal performance of HVAC, electrical, and utility systems.
• Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot building systems and utilities.
• Must be available for immediate joining.

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in BMS/HVAC control systems (mention if freshers are also eligible).
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and building automation principles.
• Hands‑on experience in controller programming, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with protocols like BACnet, Modbus and Lon Works is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving and multitasking skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self‑learning aptitude and willingness to work in dynamic site environments.

• Experience in retrofitting and upgrading BMS systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical/control drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and documentation standards.
