- Prepare jobs by ensuring all required parts, tools, and documentation are available prior to mobilization.
- Assess technical conditions on site and perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hydraulic/electrical cranes, including knuckle boom and offshore cranes.
- Diagnose and rectify issues related to hydraulic systems (pumps, valves, cylinders, accumulators), hydraulic power packs and piping systems, load‑holding, slewing, luffing, and hoisting functions, and electrical controls/PLCs/VFDs.
- Carry out work onboard vessels, offshore oil & gas installations, and offshore wind installations in compliance with Company standards, OEM guidelines, and safety procedures.
- Perform function testing, commissioning, and fault‑finding after repairs or modifications.
- Prepare clear service reports and communicate job progress and completion to the Service Coordinator and Client.
- Be available for travel at short notice, including offshore and international assignments.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Hydraulic, or Marine Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Strong hands‑on experience with hydraulic/electrical crane systems.
- Good knowledge of hydraulic schematics and fault diagnosis, proportional and directional control valves, hydraulic motors, pumps, and cylinders, load control and safety valves, and electrical controls/PLCs/VFDs.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in cranes or heavy lifting equipment.
- Experience in the marine and offshore industry is a strong advantage.
- Basic electrical and control knowledge (limit switches, sensors, solenoids) is preferred.
- Self‑motivated, customer‑focused, and able to work independently in challenging environments.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Physically fit for manual work and working at height.
