Overview
Make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures, including serving in project manager and technical lead roles, and performing quality control reviews of work prepared by staff.
Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise and technical strategy for the development of project proposals.
- Make decisions on significant design and engineering problems and procedures, including serving in project manager and technical lead roles, and performing quality control reviews of design documents prepared by staff.
- Execute training for personnel as established by strategic plans.
- Help establish new quality standards and value engineering solutions, conduct quality control reviews of completed designs and be viewed as a technical expert with recognized authority in the area of water and wastewater systems.
- Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project development to complete documents on schedule.
- Independently coordinate the work of engineers and the balance of the multi-discipline project team throughout the entire project development.
- Direct and coordinate water activities of several disciplines on projects ranging from major to moderate scope or a combination of smaller projects.
- Work with a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians in the design of water facilities, as well as with contractors and construction staff on design/build projects.
- Understand and apply conventional and advanced technologies to solve complex water feature challenges for clients throughout the group.
- Engage in client development, maintenance, and management, contract preparation and negotiation, coordination with regulatory agencies, project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and establishment of critical project objectives and performances.
- Collaborate with a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians in the design space.
- Lead planning and study efforts related to water facilities.
- Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project development to complete documents on schedule.
Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus.
