Infrastructure Manager

Description

Provide technical leadership on Infrastructure projects. Actively participate in client relationship management, business development, development of proposals, project delivery reports and technical analysis. Show leadership in achieving on‑time and on‑budget project completion as well as mentoring and developing other team members.

The role reports to the Design Services Business Group Leader and provides technical leadership across infrastructure projects. The role will also maintain key client relationships, secure project opportunities and deliver successful project outcomes.

• Clients – Work closely with clients to achieve successful project outcomes; foster and maintain relationships with existing and new clients; lead and undertake relationship building and work winning, targeting a minimum revenue of QAR 5 mn; monitor the technically and commercially sound delivery of projects and promote client satisfaction; develop strategies for targeting market sectors, individual clients and specific projects; contribute to GHD’s corporate profile development.
• People – Develop and mentor the infrastructure team; actively participate in the Infrastructure service line initiatives; build effective relationships with Team Leaders, Business Group Managers, Client Relationship Managers, Market Leaders, Service Line Leaders and other key people.
• Performance – Provide technical leadership and innovative, robust solutions based on infrastructure expertise; win and successfully deliver projects across the region; implement the ME Water Road Map in relation to the Qatar region; produce infrastructure technical reports and design documentation; ensure accuracy in all project deliverables; demonstrate proven track record with key clients including Kahramaa, Ashghal and large infrastructure contractors; deliver different technical projects in Qatar covering water, wastewater and stormwater networks;
  
  establish a network of contacts; manage competing priorities; deliver quality projects on time and within budget; maintain highly developed verbal and written communication skills; exhibit strong leadership, cooperation, attention to detail, commercial mindset, analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Strong technical capability across infrastructure projects.
• Extensive experience of design and execution phases.
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry guidelines, Ashghal/Kahramaa standards and current industry practices.
• Established industry profile through participation in professional associations.
• Ability to manage and coordinate interfaces with other disciplines.
• Demonstrated application of Safety in Design principles.
