- Plan and execute lifting operations in accordance with project specifications, HSE regulations, and BS 7121 standards.
- Develop detailed lifting plans (AutoCAD) for basic, intermediate, and complex lifts, including heavy and critical operations.
- Conduct risk assessments, method statements, and JSAs to ensure safe lifting practices.
- Supervise rigging teams and coordinate with contractors, engineers, and HSE personnel on-site.
- Inspect, maintain, and certify lifting equipment, accessories, and rigging stores.
- Train, assess, and qualify riggers, operators, and lifting personnel.
- Ensure readiness and availability of lifting equipment and accessories.
- Monitor crane activities, coordinate heavy crane scheduling, and supervise site lifts.
- Prepare erection schemes for heavy equipment and over-dimensional loads.
- Provide technical oversight and advisory support during audits, shutdowns, and turnaround projects.
- Liaise with clients, ensuring compliance and satisfaction on lifting-related deliverables.
Certifications:
- LEEA Appointed Person (AP)
- Valid TUV certificate
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in lifting and rigging within Oil & Gas
- Shutdowns, turnarounds, tank erection, heavy/critical lifts, offshore logistics.
