Lead Civil​/Structural Engineer

About the job Lead Civil/Structural Engineer Responsibilities

• Lead the design, analysis, and review of civil and structural engineering deliverables for the project.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams, contractors, and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with international codes, standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocodes), and client specifications.
• Conduct structural calculations, load analysis, and foundation design for onshore/offshore facilities.
• Supervise preparation of drawings, material specifications, and construction documents.
• Perform site inspections, resolve technical issues, and support construction teams.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, mechanical, instrumentation).
• Ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery of project deliverables.

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in civil/structural design, preferably in oil & gas projects.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng/PE) preferred.
• Consultancy experience with Kent, Wood, Worley, BCCES, or Technip.
• Valid Qatar Engineering License (MME/MMUP/UPDA).
• Strong knowledge of STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP
  2000, and AutoCAD.

• Leadership, problem-solving, and team coordination.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Qatar/local regulations is an advantage.
