📢 Hiring: HSE Engineer – Construction Projects | Qatar

We are seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across our construction sites in Qatar. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with local laws, client requirements, and company policies, while fostering a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and programs on site.
  • Ensure compliance with Qatar HSE regulations, client standards, and international best practices.
  • Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments; identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and review Method Statements, Risk Assessments (RA), and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
  • Monitor, report, and investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
  • Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training for staff and subcontractors.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and consultants on HSE matters.
  • Support client, consultant, and authority audits and inspections.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Safety, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Environmental) or related field Equivalent qualification .
  • NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory).
  • Additional HSE certifications preferred (IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor).
  • Minimum 15 years of HSE experience in construction projects.
  • Prior experience in Qatar or GCC projects preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of QHSE management systems, Qatar Construction Safety Regulations, and local authority requirements (Ashghal, QCS, etc.).
  • Proficient in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
