Job Title: CCTV Commissioning Engineer with 5 years experience.
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced CCTV Commissioning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the commissioning, testing, and handover of CCTV systems and should possess a strong understanding of other ELV systems such as access control, intrusion detection, BMS, fire alarm systems, and public address systems. The candidate should also have experience with VMS platforms like Genetec, Milestone, and Avigilon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning and Testing:
Perform commissioning and testing of CCTV systems to ensure they meet project specifications and MOI requirements.
Conduct functional and performance tests on CCTV equipment, including cameras, NVRs, and monitoring systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to CCTV system performance and functionality.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare detailed commissioning reports, test plans, and as-built documentation.
Maintain accurate records of all commissioning activities and test results.
- Client Interaction:
Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support during the commissioning phase.
Conduct training sessions for clients on the operation and maintenance of CCTV systems.
- Compliance and Standards:
Ensure all commissioning activities comply with MOI standards, codes, and regulations.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in CCTV and ELV technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning and testing CCTV systems.
- Strong knowledge of ELV systems including access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm systems, and public address systems.
- Experience with VMS platforms like Genetec, Milestone, and Avigilon.
- Proficiency in using commissioning and testing tools and software.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- This position may require travel to various project sites.
- Ability to work in different environments, including construction sites and client premises.
