Overview
Senior Electrical Engineer - We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design activities on major Oil & Gas projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and proficiency in industry-standard design tools and processes.

Responsibilities- Plan, design, and execute engineering projects based on technical specifications.
- Prepare & review reports, technical documentation, cost & manpower estimates, and risk assessments (TBE, Vendor packages, etc.).
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide engineering solutions to problems encountered during construction or operations.
- Participate in progress meetings, quality checks, and audits.
- Apply continuous improvement and innovation principles to project work.
- Actively train and encourage the development of staff to fulfill process and systems engineering roles.
- Actively participate in discipline-specific Design reviews, Model reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, Engineering Best practices, etc., as applicable.
- Judicious allocation of workload to ensure optimum utilization of resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution, with 15-20 years of relevant experience in Design Engineering of Oil & Gas / Power projects with experience in Qatar.
- Must be registered with MMUP grade A or
B. - Proficiency in relevant engineering software and knowledge of industry-specific codes and standards (in line with Qatar Energy).
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing);
Arabic is a plus but not mandatory. - Ability to plan, design, and execute engineering projects based on technical specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, leadership and decision-making abilities.
