Primary Purpose of the Job
Responsible for leading and managing all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) activities for the MM Maydan Mahzam Field Redevelopment Project, ensuring full compliance with Qatar Energy corporate requirements, departmental guidelines, IMS certification standards, and regulatory HSE obligations.
Provides project‑wide oversight of quality and HSE performance and leads the implementation and management of QHSE systems across all project phases.
Required Experience and Skills- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
- IRCA‑approved and registered Lead Auditor (or equivalent) for at least one IMS standard:
- ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
- ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety)
- ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
- Post‑graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline (preferred)
- International professional certifications in multi‑disciplinary areas such as:
- Welding
- Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT)
- Painting / Coatings / Surface Protection (preferred)
- Membership of a recognized Chartered or Professional Institution (preferred)
