Location: China (Onshore Yard – 4 Months) & Qatar Offshore (11 Months)

Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Commissioning Manager to lead and oversee all commissioning, start-up, and system handover activities for a major offshore industrial project. The role covers yard activities in China followed by offshore execution in Qatar.
The Commissioning Manager will be responsible for overall commissioning strategy, execution, team leadership, stakeholder coordination, and safe delivery of systems to operations in compliance with project specifications and international standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the full commissioning lifecycle from pre-commissioning to start-up and handover
- Develop commissioning strategy, execution plans, procedures, and schedules
- Manage multidisciplinary commissioning activities (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, Process)
- Oversee system completion, MC walkdowns, punch clearance, and documentation control
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Construction, Vendors, Operations, and HSE teams
- Ensure readiness for commissioning and smooth transition from construction to commissioning
- Monitor performance testing and validation against project requirements
- Identify and resolve technical issues, risks, and non-conformities
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies and international standards
- Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to commissioning teams
- Report progress, milestones, risks, and performance to project management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Process)
- Minimum 15+ years of commissioning and start-up experience
- Proven experience as Commissioning Manager or Senior Commissioning Lead on large EPC/EPCM projects
- Strong knowledge of system completion, turnover, and handover processes
- Offshore project experience is essential
- Strong leadership and decision-making ability
- Excellent stakeholder and contractor management

Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Commissioning Lead to support the Commissioning Manager in executing commissioning and start-up activities for a major offshore project. The role involves leading discipline-specific commissioning teams and ensuring safe and efficient system testing and handover.
The Commissioning Lead will play a key role in coordinating field execution, troubleshooting, and ensuring systems meet design and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead discipline-specific commissioning activities (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Process)
- Execute pre-commissioning, commissioning, and testing activities
- Support development of commissioning procedures and method statements
- Coordinate with construction teams to ensure systems are ready for testing
- Participate in walkdowns, punch listing, and system handover processes
- Supervise commissioning technicians and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and permit-to-work systems
- Support start-up, stabilization, and performance testing
- Prepare commissioning reports and documentation
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (relevant discipline)
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in commissioning or start-up activities
- Experience working on large EPC projects
- Offshore experience preferred
- Strong understanding of system completion and turnover processes
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
- Good leadership and team coordination
- Ability to work in offshore environments
