Senior Specialist - Dive Safety
Responsibilities
• Maintenance of the Business Management System in accordance with company requirements
• Ensure that accreditations in accordance with ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 are upheld.
• Maintain safety reporting tools and share statistics with Milaha on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
• Develop processes and assure enactment so that all dive/ROV operations are planned, risk assessed, documented, and performed by competent persons using the appropriate equipment in a safe manner
• Managing active achievement of the Quality Management Plan and KPI targets therein
• Measure crew safety performance and awareness of behavioral safety and mental health expectations.
• Conduct regular site visits and report improvement opportunities to Business Line Manager and assist them with the implementation
• Maintain and continues to develop the matrix of permitted operations
• Facilitate Hazop, SIMOPS, Hazid, and SWIFT analysis and assessments with Clients and stakeholders
• Assist in safety case Development, approvals, and communication with authorities
• Monitor and maintain safety awareness among the site, office, and project personnel Conduct safety awareness training for site personnel
• Ensure the health and safety of all employees and the protection of the environment for all sites/work premises under their control.
• Maintain frequent and collaborative technical relationships with the operational teams to ensure that the training delivered is current, accurate, and validated
Qualifications Education & Professional Qualification• 3-year Full-Time Degree in Health and Safety; or
• 3-year Full-Time Degree (Associated Degree) and a 2-year Full Time Graduate Diploma in Health and Safety; or
• 3-year Full Time Degree (Associated Degree) and NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety; or
• 3-year Full-Time Degree (Associated Degree) and Chartered member of IOSH, or
NEBOSH Diploma and Technical Dive / ROV qualifications
Preferred• Root Cause Analysis Certification
• Auditor qualification (preferred Lead Auditor) for ISO accreditation framework
• Training and Assessment qualification at Level 4 or higher
Professional Experience• Minimum of 8 to 10 years experience in an HSEQ role in a field related to Offshore, Diving, and ROV operations
Computer Skills• Fully conversant with MS Office and web applications.
Language Skills• Business Fluent in English – both written and spoken is required
Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge• High degree of understanding of diving equipment, and operations (air and saturation)
• High degree of understanding of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) and Survey operations
Significant knowledge of the following standards- ISO 9001

- ISO 45001
- IADC, API, and Behavioral Safety Mentoring Safety Cases
