Primary Purpose of the Job
The Project Interface Lead provides expert manages and coordinates all internal and external interface activities across Qatar Energy’s Infrastructure & Civil Projects. The role ensures structured planning, control, and management of interfaces between project working groups, Qatar Energy departments, third‑party entities, utility providers, companies, and government ministries.
Serving as the single point of accountability for all interface matters, the Project Interface Lead establishes clear communication, direction, and responsibilities across engineering, technical, and construction teams, as well as consultants and contractors. The role is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive Interface Management Plans, ensuring alignment with project schedules, required deliverables, and overall project objectives.
Required Experience and Skills- Minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience in the design, procurement, construction, and installation of infrastructure and civil projects within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal capabilities, with proven skills in team building, effective communication, and conflict resolution.
- Solid knowledge of industry engineering standards and strong awareness of QHSE principles and requirements.
- Familiarity with GCOC requirements and the management of project scopes within applicable legal frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience across key project management functions, including discipline engineering, supervision, construction oversight, and full lifecycle project execution.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, including presentation skills, report writing, and effective management of meetings and stakeholder interactions.
B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline from a recognized University.
