Key Responsibilities:
Plan and oversee mechanical dismantling and demolition activities at industrial and plant facilities.
Supervise the team and ongoing mechanical dismantling and lifting operations.
Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and work procedures related to demolition and dismantling.
Supervise mechanical disconnection, cutting, lifting, and removal of equipment, including piping, tanks, heat exchangers, vessels, and reactors.
Coordinate with HSE, civil, and electrical teams to ensure safe and efficient site operations.
Monitor contractor performance, site progress, and ensure adherence to project schedule and safety requirements.
Inspect and record all dismantled mechanical components and support material segregation and waste disposal as per regulations.
Provide technical input for dismantling plans, equipment selection (cranes, cutting tools, etc.), and lifting operations.
Ensure compliance with applicable standards, permits, and client
requirements.
Prepare daily progress reports, mechanical checklists, and as-built
Qualifications & Skills:Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Overall 10 year so experience with 5 years of relevant experience in demolition,
dismantling, or decommissioning projects (industrial plants preferred).
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment removal, and plant
utilities.
Knowledge of safe lifting operations, rigging plans, and hot works.
Familiar with HSE standards and environmental regulations related to waste
