Site Manager – Mechanical & Piping (Oil & Gas Project) | Qatar

Salary Range: QAR 10,000 – 15,000 (Based on experience & interview)
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Site Manager – Mechanical & Piping for our Oil & Gas EPC project in Qatar. The ideal candidate must have strong GCC experience in mechanical and piping construction within refinery, LNG, petrochemical, or pipeline projects.
The Site Manager will be responsible for full site execution control within subcontract scope, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, QA/QC standards, HSE requirements, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Overall responsibility for site execution of mechanical & piping works
- Manage site manpower, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Coordinate daily with EPC main contractor and client representatives
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications
- Monitor piping fabrication, erection, welding, hydrotesting, and mechanical installations
- Implement and enforce HSE policies and Permit to Work (PTW) systems
- Ensure strict QA/QC compliance, ITP implementation, and inspection coordination
- Monitor project progress and submit daily/weekly reports
- Identify risks and implement corrective actions
Support testing, commissioning, and final handover activities
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10–15 years Oil & Gas experience
- Strong GCC experience (Qatar / UAE / KSA / Kuwait / Oman)
- Proven background in piping construction & mechanical erection
- Experience in refinery, LNG, petrochemical, or pipeline projects
- Strong knowledge of PTW, SIMOPS, QA/QC procedures
- Experience in EPC project environment
- Strong leadership and site management skills
- Experience in live Oil & Gas facilities
- Primavera or project planning knowledge
- Immediate availability
