Material Planning Lead

NES is looking to hire a Material Requirements Planning Lead for its Qatar based oil and gas client.

• The incumbent hired will Lead the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) function by organizing, guiding and evaluating the company's inventory stocking programs, material parameter settings.
• Formulate and control the MRP framework, integrating it into divisional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with strategic inventory management targets.
• Manage and direct the full lifecycle of the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities to ensure responsiveness to material demands and end user requirements.
• Interface with engineering and technical teams to efficiently update stocking parameters in line with evolving operational requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering / industrial engineering, or commercial discipline.
• 10 years’ experience in oil and gas industry.
• Good knowledge of supplier relations and industry best practices.
• Knowledge of process improvement tools and methodology.
• Knowledge of material / material preservation and warehouse management operations.
