Process Engineer
, you will respond/report to the Process Lead/Engineering Manager and be part of our company’s various projects
, within Engineering Fixed Facilities Department
.
Mission
Elaborate, define, size and validate - within a process team - the various items, units and technical deliverables to be implemented in the Project. Work under the supervision of the Process Lead.
Tasks
- Develop Heat and Material Balances using simulation software
- Develop Process Flow diagrams to show unit operations necessary to convert feed stocks into on-specification products, in the most economical manner
- Define and size Equipment and Instrumentation to be implemented and issue relevant Process Data sheets
- Elaborate Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P and IDs)
- Perform hydraulic and thermal calculations on piping systems, in steady state and transient operation
- Define the utilities requirements and design the associated systems
- Define quantities and characteristics of effluents to be disposed to the environment
- Ensure the preparation of Operating Manual and Test Run procedures
- Check technical quality of calculations, SW simulations and deliverables produced by junior engineers
- Take part of the multidisciplinary project reviews such as P and IDs, HAZOP, 3D Model
- Engineering Degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience as Process Engineer within EPC/EPCI, Oil & Gas, Energy, or Industrial projects
- Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams is an advantage
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work effectively within multinational project teams
- Knowledge of process simulation tools
- Familiarity with Process Flow Diagrams and P&IDs
- Experience with hydraulic and thermal calculations
- Understanding of utilities systems, environmental discharges, and operating procedures
- Knowledge of HAZOP and multidisciplinary engineering reviews
- Process simulation software
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Permanent Contract – Project-based position
