Offshore Asset Integrity Inspector
Primary Purpose of the Job
Carry out Asset Integrity inspection activities offshore, covering subsea pipelines, structures and topside equipment as applicable ensuring that all inspection activities comply with safety guidelines and procedures and are carried out according to prescribed plan and reports all anomalies and deficiencies to Asset Integrity Supervisor.
Principal AccountabilitiesSupports in all Asset Integrity inspection carried out offshore at Idd El-Shargi assets, raises inspection reports, identifies anomalies and deficiencies and provides recommendation for repair in normal and emergency situation.
Context / Special Features / ChallengesGood technical and practical offshore experience is required to address the day-to-day challenges by reviewing and identifying the required remedial course of action in order to minimize revenue losses.
Qualifications & KnowledgeMinimum educational background of 2 years with Relevant associated Asset Integrity qualification. Engineering Degree desirable. Technical Diploma or equivalent.
- Plant inspection, Welding inspection and RT inspection certification.
- Should be well versed with MS office and computer skills, fluent in English.
- Strong and effective communication skills.
- Strong consultancy skills, professional, self-motivated and a team player.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and demonstrate initiative to resolve problems.
- Minimum (5) years of professional experience in managing a team of inspectors in Oil & Gas Industry preferably in offshore environment.
- Knowledge of international inspection and compliance codes/jurisdictional codes desirable.
- Should have multi-discipline skill set and good understanding of inspection and coating practices and standards.
