Primary Purpose of the Role

To assist the Senior Civil Engineer / Civil Engineer in supervising and coordinating civil maintenance activities including roads, buildings, and infrastructure within the Dukhan concession area. The role involves site inspections, contractor supervision, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Supervise civil, road, and building maintenance works carried out by contractors.
• Conduct routine inspections and report findings to the Civil Engineer.
• Perform preliminary investigations and site assessments as required.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Record and input maintenance requirements using SAP or relevant systems.
• Participate in joint site visits and verify completed work quantities.
• Prepare daily and periodic reports on maintenance activities.
• Ensure all works comply with client standards and international codes.
• Assist in surveying tasks including topographical and level surveys.
• Support testing activities such as soil testing, concrete testing, and NDT.
• Prepare sketches, estimates, and maintenance scope for review.
• Assist in tender documentation and data collection.
• Conduct punch listing and ensure timely closure of defects.
• Act as Permit Applicant/Controller for Permit to Work (PTW) system.
• Attend toolbox talks and promote safety awareness on-site.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with HSE standards.

• Diploma in Civil Engineering (minimum 2-year technical education).
• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in civil, road, and building construction/maintenance.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with MS Office and maintenance systems (preferably SAP).
• Valid GCC driving license (or ability to obtain within specified time).
• Strong knowledge of civil maintenance practices and site supervision.
• Experience in the Middle East is preferred.

• Understanding of HSE procedures (PTW, risk assessments, safety compliance)
