Reports to Lead Static (N+1) and Head of Campaign & SD (N+2). No direct reports (N-1).
Job PurposeImplementation and execution of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities in close liaison with Departmental Planners, Contracts & Procurement, Warehouse, Maintenance Team Leads, Campaign & Shutdown Coordinators, Field Operations Inspection, Maintenance Engineering, NOC Operations Centre Manager, and T1/T2 Maintenance Coordinators.
Key Accountabilities- Work Pack Preparation:
Prepare maintenance work packs; order materials and initiate fabrication for piping and structural CM jobs for SD, Campaign, and Base operations. - Vendor Mobilisation:
Arrange vendor mobilisation for spools and structural survey. - Short-Term Maintenance:
Key integration role in short-term maintenance preparation and execution, collaborating with a wide range of leadership stakeholders—4‑month and 5‑week planning horizons. - Budget Input:
Provide input to Leads and Coordinators for development of annual operational and capital budgets. - External Stakeholder Interface:
Liaise with fabricators and design offices.
- Drive a safety culture and incident‑free environment; ensure HSE compliance by personnel and contractors under guidance of the Static Team Lead.
- Lead cross‑discipline maintenance coordinators to provide robust PPM and CM data supporting safe and efficient preparation, planning, execution, and closeout of base operations, campaigns, and shutdowns.
- Provide first‑level specialist technical advice to site/offshore personnel on plant/equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and maintenance investigations.
- Provide technical and administrative support for site base operations: scope preparation, vendor organisation, supply direct support to site (spare parts, tooling, technical procedures, work packs, work order resourcing).
- Ensure overall readiness and execution of scopes aligned with campaign shutdown gate criteria; work order resourcing.
- Maintain daily communication with NOC‑OC T1/T2; provide support on technical/administrative issues; attend daily video conference calls with offshore OTLs and discipline supervisors.
- Visit offshore sites regularly to enhance collaboration and information flow.
- Manage onshore draftsman workload, prioritising based on upcoming campaign and shutdown.
- Manage the repair process for critical equipment including visits to local vendor workshops and warehouses.
- Ensure 4‑month and 5‑week planning are optimised in liaison with the planning department; attend weekly IOP meetings to ensure gate criteria are achieved (spares, vendor mobilisations, tooling, shipment, PRs).
- Education:
Minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three‑year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent). - Experience:
Minimum 6 years of experience in structural/piping maintenance activities offshore, in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants. - Skills:
Fluent in English (written and verbal), good interpersonal and organisational skills, computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Authorisation:
Fit to work. - Other:
High School Diploma / Technical certificate in Discipline.
