Licensed Aircraft Engineer Level II; Gulfstream​/Bombardier

You will provide full support to the Lead Engineers and Management to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as required by maintenance documentation to ensure full-time aircraft availability and safety for Qatar Executive's commercial fleet.

All work is conducted in accordance with the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority regulations and company procedures to uphold the highest safety standards.

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on the assigned aircraft.
• Manage and motivate the maintenance team, determining the materials, tooling, and support required for each task.
• Manage inspections, prioritize defects, and identify necessary skill sets to coordinate effective use of pool personnel.
• Proactively find solutions to defects, ensuring efficient resolution while adhering to safety, regulatory, and company policies.
• Advise of any impending issues or areas of concern that may impact aircraft, particularly cabin system serviceability.
• Release final work, ensuring tasks meet QE standards and targets such as aircraft availability, system reliability, and acceptable deferred defects.
• Review work procedures, equipment, and standards to propose and implement improvements for effective work processes.
• Assist other QE departments in defining, developing, and preparing maintenance work packages.
• Provide specialist support to QE Maintenance, QE CAMO, and Engineering as required.
• Travel to aircraft locations on short notice to perform troubleshooting and defect rectification with maximum efficiency.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training for technicians and mechanics.
• Collaborate with OEMs, vendors, and suppliers to resolve defects and operational issues.
• Produce timely on-time delivery and maintain required standards of aircraft reliability and appearance.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
