Vendor Coordinator

Purpose of the position:
As Vendor Coordinator, you will respond and report to the Lead/Manager and work within the Commissioning Department of the COMP2 Project.

• Coordinate vendor mobilization, call‑outs and site activities in line with the commissioning schedule.
• Act as the single point of contact between vendors, Commissioning Engineers, Construction and QA/QC teams.
• Ensure vendor presence during FAT/SAT, loop checks, functional testing and system start‑up.
• Align vendor schedules with system/subsystem priorities and commissioning sequence.
• Liaise with engineering and procurement teams for technical clarifications and vendor deliverable tracking.
• Monitor vendor readiness including documentation, manpower, tools and consumables.
• Track vendor performance versus schedule and proactively escalates delays.
• Monitor testing progress.
• Support commissioning team in preparing daily and weekly reports.
• Support vendor‑related processes such as timesheet validation, invoice coordination and budget tracking for vendor activities.
• Identify and resolve technical gaps between vendor packages and site conditions, and interface conflicts between disciplines.
• Coordinate corrective actions until closure.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation preferred).
• Experience:
  
  2–7+ years in EPC Oil & Gas projects.
• Familiarity with EPC workflows and handover stages (MC → Commissioning → Start‑up).
• Experience with multi‑discipline coordination (E&I, Mechanical, Process).
