Job Summary

The Scheduler - Planning & Project Control is responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules to ensure timely and efficient execution of construction and engineering projects. This role involves preparing detailed schedules, analyzing project progress, tracking delays, and supporting project teams with schedule control and reporting activities. The position plays a key role in coordinating project timelines, resource planning, and schedule integration to achieve project objectives within approved deadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 scheduling software
  • Assist project teams in preparing and developing overall project schedules based on project requirements and milestones
  • Prepare Level 3 Construction Schedules in alignment with project execution plans
  • Develop detailed Level 4 Construction Schedules for project activities and execution tracking
  • Extract and analyze resource requirements based on approved project schedules
  • Prepare and follow up on 3-month lookahead schedules based on approved Level 4 schedules
  • Perform schedule updates and coordinate with project teams to ensure schedule accuracy and alignment
  • Analyze schedule updates and evaluate impacts on project timelines, resources, and deliverables
  • Present schedule progress reports and participate in schedule review meetings with stakeholders
  • Prepare and update resource-loaded schedules to support project planning and execution
  • Track change conditions, variations, and their impacts on the project schedule
  • Prepare schedule narratives, reports, and supporting documentation as required
  • Identify delays in baseline schedules and notify project teams regarding delay events and activity impacts
  • Communicate schedule concerns, risks, and delays effectively to project stakeholders and management
  • Develop and maintain summary-level schedule reports including Gantt charts, milestone reports, critical path analysis, and performance variance reports
  • Support cost and schedule integration activities to improve project performance monitoring
  • Facilitate and actively participate in weekly schedule review meetings and planning discussions
  • Ensure compliance with project planning procedures, company standards, and client requirements
Mandatory Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Mechanical Engineer with knowledge of Electrical and Instrumentation works highly preferred
  • Minimum 5–10 years of field and scheduling experience
  • Proven experience in handling mega projects within construction, industrial, or engineering environments
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software
  • Good understanding of project planning, scheduling methodologies, and project control
