Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our automation team. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end SCADA system design, implementation, and project execution while mentoring engineers and ensuring successful delivery of complex industrial automation projects.
Role Responsibilities:- Lead the design, configuration, integration, and implementation of SCADA solutions across multiple industries.
- Define and develop User Requirement Specifications (URS) and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Prepare detailed software and hardware design specifications.
- Lead the development, testing, deployment, and documentation of SCADA applications.
- Develop system validation and testing protocols ensuring compliance and quality standards.
- Oversee procurement and specification of software, hardware, and licenses.
- Prepare scope of supply documents and technical proposals.
- Estimate engineering effort and man-hours for project execution.
- Manage and technically lead SCADA project delivery from start to commissioning.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Lead on-site installation, testing, commissioning, and system start-up activities.
- Provide technical guidance and training to operators, engineers, and client teams.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technical team members.
- B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering from a recognized institute.
- 7–8 years of relevant experience in Automation / SCADA engineering roles.
- Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in a technical leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong hands‑on experience with SCADA platforms such as AVEVA System Platform, Factory Talk, WinCC, or equivalent systems.
- Solid understanding of Windows Server environments, SQL databases, and industrial networking.
- Experience in supervising field installations including cabling, containment, and instrumentation is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to engage clients and stakeholders effectively.
- Candidates currently available in Qatar with a valid transferable work visa will be preferred.
