About the job Lead of Electrical Engineer Process (S-1121) - 4Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Knowledge and/or Experience- 15 years experience of Electrical Engineering, preferably in a major LNG Project. Broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, onshore LNG facilities and utility systems design, construction and operations.
- Has completed at least one major EPC project of a minimum duration of 40 months through all project phases: detail engineering, construction, Commissioning, start up and hand over.
- Previous lead electrical position part of PMT or world class EPC contractor.
- Minimum project installed electrical power of 20
MVA - Maximum average turnaround of 30 months in previous positions.
- Requires demonstrated broad Electrical equipment and systems experience (HV/MV/LV electrical systems design, transformers, switch gear, power management systems, electrical system controls for reactive and active power sharing, power distribution control, large Motors, 40MW+) and familiarity with relevant manufacturing processes and relevant industry codes.
- High voltage and large-scale onshore power design requirements.
- Experience with EPC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from variety of cultural backgrounds.
- Excellent written and oral English skills.
- Strong technical and discipline management skills.
- Good organisational, planning and coordination skills.
- Good communication, influencing and interface skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, etc.
Requirement:
- Candidate has completed at least 1 major oil & gas greenfield (preferably LNG) Onshore EPC project (4 ~ 6 years) working as Electrical Lead, for either:
- Company PMT (Client side)
- A major EPC contractor
- Project experience is a must / maintenance or operation is a plus.
- Candidates profile is Project
- Stable career (Average Turnover within a company > 3 years).
