PURPOSEOF THE POSITION
As Telecom Commissioning Engineer
, you will respond/report to the Commissioning Manager and be part of Commissioning Department within the COMP3 Project
.
- Provide technical input during FEED and detailed engineering stages, ensuring alignment with project objectives and industry standards.
- Ensure that all activities within his area of responsibilities are done in full compliance with the HSE requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring that telecommunications systems meet project specifications, industry standards, and are fully operational upon project completion.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to align telecommunications requirements with overall project objectives.
- Esure safe commissioning, start-up and maintenance execution on Telecommunication Systems, compliant with HSE rules, legislative resulations and international standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Telecommunications engineering, with experience in commissioning offshore oil and gas projects
- Familiarity with offshore compression plants and associated systems is highly preferred
- Experience working in O&G EPC companies
- English (required); additional languages are an asset.
- Telecom systems commissioning & testing
- Fiber optics (OTDR, splicing, testing)
- Network systems (switching, VLAN, IP networking)
- Network diagrams
- P&IDs
- Layout drawings
- Familiar with FAT, SAT, commissioning workflows
- Permanent Contract – Project-based position
