Commissioning Lead; COMP9 & 2 HVAC

Responsibilities

• Support EPC PMT by reviewing critical documents and reports generated by the main subcontractor. Attend workshops/review meetings when requested.
• Analyse technical proposals and proposed deviations, assess exceptions and new technologies to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Apply lessons learned from previous projects and share new ones with other EPCs.
• Support the qualification of new suppliers proposed for the project, suppliers that are not on the approved vendor's list.
• Assess Contractor's manpower loading and provide timely recommendations to project team and be available to backfill needs as required.
• Support the engineering team to stay on schedule to meet all critical milestones (long lead item (LLI) procurement, engineered equipment procurement; required on site (ROS) dates, etc); develops and stewards recovery plans to address any schedule delays.
• Witness Contractor's scope of work and signs off test and check sheets as per project requirements.
• Verify that the EPC Contractor's reports are accurate with regards to progress reporting.
• Cooperate with review teams and take part in quality audit activities throughout the project. Report findings accurately and provide plan to address issues when required.

• Bachelor's Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.
• 8 years experience with large-project commissioning in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
• In depth knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, appropriate safety criteria, mission critical facilities and discipline design, construction, operations and engineering administration.
• Knowledge and experience in discipline commissioning delivery processes and associated project phases, familiar with completions walkdowns and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.
• Experience in an HVAC role for large EPC contracts, with strong HVAC commissioning/technical skills.
• Advanced knowledge in testing and balancing (TAB) activities.
• Advanced knowledge in performance testing of fans and air handling units to ensure design specs are met.
• Advanced knowledge of refrigeration system commissioning.
• Experience in room integrity testing.
• Knowledge of Fluorinated Gas (F-gas) regulations.
• Experience with AHI Carrier & Wozair equipment.
• Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies.

Salary: Day Rate in USD Plus Allowance

Work Schedule: 10 Hours / 6 Days

Duration: 36 months (Renewable)
