Senior Instrumentation Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Supports adherence to accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements and customer specifications
• Supports standardization of equipment specifications, drawings and document templates
• Contributes to understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful
• Uses local global standards to support technical excellence
• Supports checking peer reviews and incorporation of comments and findings
• Deliver Instrumentation & Control discipline specific design and drafting services that meet Worley the client s and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
• Apply recognised offshore, onshore engineering practices applicable to Instrumentation & Control design engineering
• Perform discipline specific design and drafting services such as ensure the project scope is clear and that changes to scope comply with project change management processes if required
• Participate in studies and analyses and recommend actions
• Prepare engineering drawings and documentation
• Ensure all drawings and documents are checked in accordance with Worley checking procedures and participate in project reviews as required
• Quality Assurance work within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems
• Safety:
  Responsible for personal safety and working within the Occupational Health & Safety procedures
• Competent in implementing HSE in the design process focuses on process safety and strives to use best practice

• Accreditation Training Diploma, Advance Diploma of Engineering Technology in Instrumentation & Control discipline
• Industry Specific
  
  Experience:
  
  vast number of years experience in Design and engineering of Instrumentation & Control equipment
• Must have experience in Offshore & Onshore projects
• AutoCAD Detailed Design As-builts
• Preferable skills – AVEVA
