Position Overview
Qatar Airways is seeking an experienced Technical Auditor to ensure compliance with the highest aircraft maintenance and airworthiness standards. - Verify that all aircraft maintenance activities comply with company and regulatory requirements under the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME), Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE), and Technical Procedures Manual (TPM).
- Issue and extend Airworthiness Review Certificates and Permits to Fly.
- Conduct biannual maintenance document reviews to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Perform surveillance inspections on aircraft maintenance operations and related activities in Doha.
- Coordinate with the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) during internal and external audits.
- Maintain and update databases for QCAA company approvals and aircraft certificates.
- Monitor and manage the renewal of aircraft certificates in coordination with regulatory agencies.
- Carry out Maintenance Document Review (MDR) audits and issue the corresponding certificates.
- Track audit findings, ensuring timely and satisfactory implementation of corrective actions.
- Oversee validity of aircraft on-board documentation and organizational approvals issued by QCAA.
- Maintain authorization records for certifying, non-certifying, and subcontracted technical personnel.
- Provide periodic reports and ensure audit data integrity across all engineering systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification through an apprenticeship or Part 66 License.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1/B2), Systems Engineer, or in a Civil Aviation Authority regulatory role.
- At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance and aviation auditing.
- Qualified Aviation Auditor with experience in Airworthiness Review procedures.
- Comprehensive understanding of EASA Part 145, Part M, and ICAO Annexes related to airworthiness and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance documentation, processes, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and audit reporting systems.
