Position Overview
Qatar Airways is seeking a qualified Maintenance Training Instructor (Level
4) to develop and deliver theoretical and practical training programs for aircraft maintenance personnel under QCAR/EASA Part 147 regulations. The role involves creating training materials, conducting examinations, evaluating trainee performance and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards to maintain technical excellence within the organization’s maintenance operations.

- Develop and deliver EASA/QCAR Part
147 theoretical training courses for aircraft maintenance personnel in line with regulatory requirements. - Conduct analysis, design, implementation and evaluation of new and existing technical training courses.
- Prepare training materials including manuals, presentations and handouts for trainees.
- Deliver practical training using Maintenance Simulation Training Devices (MSTD) and perform as an assessor where required.
- Participate in the creation, validation and administration of examination questions and tests.
- Provide specialized technical training to support the needs of Part
145 Maintenance Repair Organization and Part CAMO. - Maintain accurate documentation for all courses and coordinate with training administrators for record‑keeping.
- Attend instructor development programmes to stay updated with training standards and regulatory changes.
- Ensure training content aligns with the latest aircraft technologies and maintenance methodologies.
- Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or a degree (B.Eng., BSc) in Aeronautical Engineering.
- Holder of ICAO/QCAA/EASA Aircraft Maintenance Licence with at least two aircraft type authorisations from the Qatar Airways fleet.
- Minimum 5years of related experience in aircraft maintenance and training.
- Certified under EASA Part
147 for relevant theoretical and practical training elements. - Knowledge of QCAR/EASA Part
145/147/66 regulatory requirements. - Training in instructional techniques and familiarity with aviation training devices (ACT/DTS).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong command of English, meeting at least B1 CEFR proficiency level.
- Aviation maintenance training and instructional design.
- Practical and theoretical aircraft systems instruction.
- Course material development and trainee assessment.
- Compliance with international aviation training regulations.
- Communication and mentoring skills.
