QA/QC Manager - Mechanical O&G
Required to join an international contractor working on the mechanical scope of a large scale oil and gas project in Qatar.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the establishment of a fully documented project quality system in line with the Contract requirements and ISO 9001:2015 covering Engineering, Procurement, Installation and Pre-/Commissioning.
- Ensure that work is carried out fully in accordance with the project quality standards specified in the Contract and that the procedures laid down in the Project Quality Plan to achieve these standards are followed.
- Establishing and monitoring KPI’s for all project execution phases
- Maintain a project quality audit schedule to ensure effectiveness of the project quality system.
BSc Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. HND or equivalent could be accepted if accompanied with strong professional qualifications and experience.
20+ years working experience in oil & gas related projects including projects in a full EPC environment.
The ability to communicate well at all levels and to demonstrate leadership.
Excellent planning, presentation, negotiations and organizational skills, the vision to identify quality improvement opportunities and the ability to achieve results through motivation and team working.
A proven track record of managing Quality during execution of all phases in a typical EPC Contract for an oil & gas facility
