ENGINEERING LEAD – HYDROGRAPHIC

Job PurposeResponsible for leading and coordinating all hydrographic and survey engineering activities for the RLIC Port dredging and reclamation project and other nearshore developments within the Off-plot project portfolio. The role ensures accurate acquisition, processing, and interpretation of bathymetric, geophysical, and geospatial data required for project design, installation, and operations. It provides technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams, ensuring survey activities comply with project specifications, international standards, and HSE requirements.
Qualifications,Knowledge and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Hydrography, Geomatics, Geophysics) or Ocean Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of engineering experience, including at least 4 years in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory, acting, or contractor oversight experience managing contractor, subcontractor, service, or vendor personnel.
- Proven experience managing contractors and third-party vendors across multiple project phases, preferably completing at least one full project lifecycle from FEED to Start-Up.
- Experience with technology adoption and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Hands‑on experience in offshore construction, subsea pipelines, and marine operations.
- Familiarity with international standards (e.g., IHO, IMCA) and HSE requirements.
- Demonstrated capability in contractor management and project coordination.
- Middle East project experience, preferably in Qatar, is a strong advantage.
