Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cockpit connectivity initiatives focused on operational ground applications and airborne software integration
  • Ensure compliance of airborne and ground systems with regulatory, manufacturer, and industry standards
  • Coordinate connectivity projects with engineering, avionics, IT, cybersecurity, EFB, and technical pilot teams
  • Manage updates, upgrades, and enhancements with aircraft manufacturers and OEMs
  • Research emerging aircraft connectivity technologies and support their operational implementation
  • Investigate and resolve aircraft datalink and connectivity issues with minimal operational disruption
  • Support aircraft status monitoring including activations and deactivations in line with internal processes
  • Oversee configuration and integration of ground datalink systems to maintain network integrity
  • Program and maintain AOC database and AMI components as required
  • Contribute to timely delivery of engineering tasks and projects assigned by management
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Aeronautical, Mechatronics, Communications, or Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aircraft datalink, communications, or cockpit connectivity
  • Experience with airline flight operations engineering, avionics engineering, OEMs, or aviation service providers
  • Knowledge of ground datalink systems configuration and administration
  • Strong understanding of ARINC and AEEC specifications and protocols
  • Proven expertise in datalink and communications avionics systems across multiple aircraft types
  • Familiarity with aviation communications infrastructure and ACARS over IP
  • Working knowledge of programming languages such as , C, C, or Python preferred
  • Strong analytical, investigative, communication, and project coordination skills
